PhD in Clinical Psychology:

  • Number of seats: 4
  • Duration of course: 2 years
  • Eligibility: Candidates with m.Phil(medical and Social Psychology/ Clinical Psychology) from universities recognised by UGC are eligible to apply for PhD in Clinical Psychology. 
M.Phil in Clinical Psychology:
  • Duration of the course: 2 years
  • Number of seats: 16(OBC 04, UR 06, EWS 02, ST 01, SC 03)
  • Eligibility: Candidates with a MA/M.Sc in Psychology from universities recognised by UGC are eligible to apply for this course(55 % marks for UR and EWS and 50% marks for SC, ST and OBC)
M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work:
  • Duration: 2 years
  • Number of seats: 12(OBC 03, UR 07, EWS 01, SC 01) PH 02
  • Eligibility: Candidates with masters in Social Work from Universities recognised by UGC are eligible to apply for this course(55 % marks for UR and EWS and 50% marks for SC, ST and OBC)
Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing:
  • Duration: 1 year
  • Number of seats: 15(OBC 03, UR 08, EWS 01, ST 01, SC 02) PH 02
  • Eligibility: Candidates with an A grade certificate or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery are eligible to apply for this course.
Scholarships:
  • Group A and B: Rs 25,000 per month
  • Group C: Rs 2500 per month
Selection process:
  • Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing: Interview only
  • M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work: Entrance Test + Interview/Practical
  • PhD and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology: Entrance Test + Interview + Practical
