CLAT 2020 Undergraduate courses
Eligibility:
General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI category candidates should have scored 45 % marks or equivalent grade in 10+2 or an equivalent examination in order to get admissions for undergraduate courses. SC/ST candidates need only 40% marks. Candidates appearing for their final exam in March/April 2020 are also eligible to apply but they should submit the evidence of passing qualifying exam at the time of admission.
Is there any upper age limit for CLAT 2020 UG program?: NO
Exam pattern: This will be a 2 hour exam which consist of 150 multiple choice questions. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25. The questions will be from areas of English Language, Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, Quantitative Techniques, Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning.
CLAT 2020 Post Graduate courses
Eligibility
General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates need a minimum 50% marks in LL.B Degree or an equivalent examination while SC/ST candidates need only 45% marks for applying for CLAT 2020 PG courses. Candidates appearing for the final exam in April/May 2020 are also eligible to apply.
Is there any upper age limit for CLAT 2020 PG program?: NO
Exam pattern:
This will be a 2 hour exam which consist of 100 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each and 50 marks (Two essay type questions each of 25 marks) on the topics of law and contemporary issues. For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25. The questions will be from areas of English Language, Current Affairs, including General Knowledge, Quantitative Techniques, Legal reasoning and Logical Reasoning. The syllabus consists of Constitutional Law and Other Law Subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR and Jurisprudence.
Application fees:
- General candidates: Rs 4000/-
- SC/ST/BPL candidates: Rs 3500/-
Note: If you need to get the previous year question paper, you need to submit Rs 500/-. In addition, the bank transaction charges also need to be paid by the candidates.
